I love this creation of mine... I can't beleive this turns out so beautiful!!!!.... I bought this wooden key holder in Flea Market, when I saw them.... I grab them intantly as I know I can create something like this.... I grab them all.... Yes , they are 5 of this in different sizes... and what a bargain, I paid for $5.00 for the lot!!!! really cheap and the old lady selling these was wondering what I'm gonna do to them .... lol

My apologise all... for not updating my blog for so long... it's been 3 months now...
my holiday was great...had lots of fun.. been to hongkong... love Disneyland and went Phil... visited relatives.
I will post some photos next time, but for the mean time, I know you're wondering how I was going on my scrap stuff... well ,been busy in the last 2 weekends doing some LO using my old stash... and I hope you all like them as much as I do.

Swirly flowers are handmade... don't you love them... now I'm addicted on making them... for sure you're gonna see these flowers again on my next project.

Papers used are from K&company mix with Sassafrass Lass, frame (Tattered Angel).
Love those butterflies... these are from K&company pp I just handcut them.

"CHEEKY PRINCESS"

This is my Fav... I used Sassafrass Lass flower diecuts and stickers and layered with Basic grey pp, transparency and some bazzill cardstock. love layering.

Fabric... yes...fabric... those flowers are handmade made from fabric... cute isn't?
Cream colour are calico and yellow fabric was for making quilt... I bought this ages ago... and when I found it in my stash... I knew this will match on this LO... so decided to experiment... and
Wallllaaa.... I did it.... the LO came out nicely.

I sprayed glimmer mist to add more colour.

"SPECIAL BOND"

PP- October Afternoon, Crate paper, Pink Paislee and Bazzill cardstock.
I'm sure you all notice that I used different kinds of pp on my LO... yes I admit, I like to mix and match... different brands of paper that all put together, that's what challenge me a lot and I love it.
and the result is not that bad isn't? well for me.... I liked it!!!!

Love those flowers.... and I used machine stitch to add texture to it.

WOODEN TISSUE BOX

First of all I would like to say "Thank You" for those who left nice comments in my blog..
I do really appreciate it and now I know that there are some out there always visiting my blog.
well since I was so creative in the last couple of weeks, now I created another project which I think will be good for gift ideas.

A "Wooden Tissue Box" match with the Caddy tool kit I did before.. this was for myself to put on my desk at work.

Love it!!!!

Used handmade Fabric flowers..

and ofcourse I put my daughters Photo...

GIFT IDEAS

Hi All,

I'm back again and want to show you the projects I created this week... pretty easy to make especially the Butterfly frame...

Good for gifts..:)
I created the Caddy wooden tool kit and Butterfly white wooden frame.

Caddy was for myself ofcourse, as I need it for work to put all my pens and other stuff. I love it..

CADDY WOODEN TOOL KIT

I'm sure you notice that I have used old papers from basic grey?... yes, you are right, as I have heaps of papers that I need to use... so here you go...

Fabric flowers are handmade,fun and easy to make.
I have also use spellbinders for the large flower with a touch of glimmer mist.

Leaves are from spotlight...yes!!! spotlight... they have heaps of felt leaves that

you can use for a project like this.

Felt branch was from prima... my old stash as well...

Beautiful isn't? I love it!!!!

I'm sure It will look more beautiful on my desk at work... to keep me inspired...

BUTTERFLY FRAME

I used Martha Stewart classic butterfly punch... using all my bright colours left over papers.

I also used Hero arts woodgrain stamp for the background and emboss with clear embossing powder.

decorate with glitter glue and mix pearls...

This was a farewell gift for my workmate.. I hope she's will love it as much as I do... for sure I will make more!!!

btw.. frame was from IKEA, size (9x9x1-3/4)

anyhow... till next time..

Just want to share projects that I created which are for Christmas Gift Ideas. These are all already on Display in Shop. The Mini album which you can copy in crop, so feel free to check it out.

-CUTE LITTLE CARRY VOUCHERS OR CASH-

I used all My Minds Eye brand,papers ,glittered chipboard elements.
Hero arts stamps and assorted ribbons.

-DECORATED MINI SWEET JARS-

These are so... very easy to make...

Materials used: Trees are from pattern paper, ribbon,brad,chipboard glittered star, Christmas border sticker sheet, Mini flower punch and stamp from Hero arts.

- KAISER MINI ALBUMS-

These is so... cute!!!! when I created this ,I don't know where to start... but when I started to paint the stand and ink all the mini albums... my creativity started to flow....

when I'm making Mini albums especially my own design... for sure it will be full of designs... meaning really full of embellishments and a lot of colours... as I want it fun and funky...

So here's the finished product... maybe you are wondering why it's 2007? well... yes...I know I'm a bit delay with my Christmas scrapping... I still have 2008 to do and 2009 is coming in 2 months!!!!.

The Wooden stand is cute... I have used Pink Paislee clear stamp (snowflakes)...

Beautiful isn't?

RED HILL

Hi All,

Here's few photos I took last weekend... we did not plan going to Red Hill... but since the weather is nice... 27degrees.. we decided to go on the day.

Kathryn got really excited in the car... on the way to the place were we going...
normally she always complaints to anything when she's bored... but that time she was in happy mood... thank God!!!! just to give me a break even for a day :)

took some shots when were on the way..

See the view.... it's fantastic isn't...

Every year we always go to this place... you can do strawberry picking and if you don't want to pick your own , you can buy some fresh strawberries as well...

Love the place... even just sit outside the cafe... the view is beautiful... but since, I'm a type of person who always feels cold...so we decided to sit inside the cafe.

Khat got excited with the Jams...

They do sell wines as well... but since I'm not a drinker.... we did not buy any.

Khat loves those strawberry accessories...

and now she's thinking of buying something.... hmmmmm that's a bit of a worry isn't... spending again...

Here's chocolate dipping sauce.... yummmm...

After been to the mini shop ... then we decided to order some nice really yummy food....

Lito got bored in waiting on our order.....

I told to them.... don't eat it yet... I need to take some photos first!!!!

that was scrappers do... isn't? LOL

I love the strawberries... but I'm not fan of "milk chocolate"...... I prefer Dark chocolate instead!!!

Hi all...

I'm back again.... as promised here's some layouts I have made in the last 2 weeks...

****THANKFUL SO.... BLESSED****

I mostly scrap for my daughter "Khat" and my family and now it's my first time to scrap about just for myself... and I love it.
as I have mentioned before... this Amber road collections from Pink paislee is not really my type of colours... for someone who knows me more,,, I love bright colours!!!!
but I had fun making project using this collections so decided to used this for my layout.

I will be teaching this layout sometime next month... so if interested pls ring the shop for booking.

All materials are Pink paislee, papers,rub-ons,alpha, brads,diecut tags...
I have used my Fiskars scallop punch as well.

Used RW laser cut flourish and collection chipboard frames.

Have you notice the top 2 square chipboard blocks on top of the photo? cool isn't???
Yes it's part of my photo... love that technique.

Used Scrapware laser cut flowers and kaiser pearls.

When I took this photo last Christmas in Philippines... I knew I can create something to it... and when the papers from Sassafraslass arrived at scraptacular... I quickly asked Julie if I can make this layout...

This is my first time to do a Boy layout and I had fun creating it.... oppps.... and I used flowers as well... but it looks good isn't???
I think I will start making more boy layouts next time...

CHATTER BOX CANVAS MINI ALBUM

Hi All,

As promise... here's some photos of my CHATTER BOX CANVAS MINI AMBUM- I started to decorate the cover 4 days ago... but since I'm working full time , I don't have much time to scrap on weekdays... may be just half an hour or so.... but not enough to make a masterpiece like this.
I have enjoyed creating this... I went to bed at 2:00 am this morning as I'm so excited to finish it... as a result.... Love the finish product....

I will be teaching this album at Scraptacular... (Date to be advise) will post the date as soon it's finalise....

It was a bit thicker than normal mini album as I have used lots of buttons and pearl wedding brads (making memories).

I have recycled the packaging of prima canvas tabs....

Laser cut tree... which I have decorated with lots of mix sizes buttons...

Just want to show you a layout that I created using our very own " Handmade flowers". Me and my Daughter are busy creating these flowers... and are definitely "handmade".... yes.... handmade...

Day Off...What a perfect day!!!

It was my Birthday yesterday 18th of August...which I worked all day.... so I decided to have a "Day off " today...

(Why not...) I think it's fair to treat myself even just once in a year... isn't it?.
I won't mention how old I am....as I hate to get older (laugh;;;)

My Daughter Khat made me a card...she's so sweet....oppps... I will show the photo soon... and My husband gave me $$$ for my scrapbooking shopping.... which I requested... instead of giving me pressies.... (laugh;)...

Thanks to Maria and Margaret for the Chockie pressies... (I love the Dark Chocolate-can't say no to that)...and Garry My boss in Joining us (lunch at Arco).

I received sms' from my 2 fav sisters back home (philippines) Ate Agnes and Ate tess... missed you both.

My niece Sheilla... Thanks!!!...you still remember my Birthday..

Today :

khat got grumpy this morning as she has school and she can't come with us.. she gives me headaches in the morning... My blood pressure went up....just convincing her to go to school. (grrrr...)

First Me and Lito (my husband) went to Pancake Parlour for Breckie... I love the Traditional Breakfast- Pancake,bacon and eggs with strong cappucino.... really love it!!!!. Lito easily forgot about his colesterol diet.. (laugh::)

Sorry don't have photos at Pancake Parlour as I forgot to bring my SLR camera. (ggrrrr..)

Then we went back home to get it ... and decided to go to City... first... we plan to catch train but -we have no luck in getting parking at oakleigh train station...so we end up driving...

In city.... Parking is too expensive.... ($45.00 for 2 hours).... wow...
so we just went to Casino parking and ended up free...(long story)...

The Weather was perfect... it's a bit windy but it's sunny and 19 degrees...
Went to the Yarra... in the park...

Lucky I wore my old comfortable shoes... as we walked... walked and walked...

and Lito complaining about his foot.... again.... I think it's a sign of getting old... (laugh:)

This was a perfect day for me... no kids.... just me and Lito... we have a chance to go to the park - sit -relax.... (can't ask for anything more...)

and it's been a while since I have got a chance to have my photos taken.
so Lito took more photos of me.... can't wait to scrap them.

After the City... we went to Chadstone ...

we always go to Borders...to read...read and read Magazines and books. It's cheaper than going around the shops... (laugh;;))..

JB Calendar Mini Album

"JENNI BOWLIN CALENDAR MINI ALBUM"

When I saw this Calendar pack from Scraptacular, I knew I can make a mini Album out of it...
I have covered the front and embellish with my left over papers and embellishments... you should be creative when creating this kind of album...
you can put as many embellishments as you like...

For the front cover... I have used the following:

-Prima flower- which is my Favourite... you can get 2 pcs in a pack.
-Collections Mini chipboard butterfly with kaiser pearls
-Used my fiscars scallop punch -black bazzill cardstock
-Hambly white frame transparency
-Technique tuesday clear stamp " I just Love you" which I embossed.
-alpha -Pink Paislee
- and lots of layered pattern papers.

This is a bit thicker than normal mini album as I have put lots of layered papers and embellishments.

I have covered the bottom of February Calendar to add interest which can also use for space in journalling.

I have Highlight the date that was important to me... like the 18th of August which was my Birthday!!!.

I did not forget to include my Scraproom of course.

Lito's Birthday "October" and put some mini photos of him.

Khat's birthday "November" and embellish with chipboard Birds from "collections".

I have used stampin up punch - blue cardstock-.

Isn't she lovely....

Used Sassafras flower diecuts stickers and basic grey alphas...

Love this page...

Used:

Maya road chipboard house and tree which I have covered with pattern paper.

Used Hambly transpapency- which add texture to pages.

And this is my Family... :)

I love creating Mini Albums... sometimes I prefer to create from scratch than buy premade one.

January- used chipboard numbers,stars from Collections, bling and brad from Basic Grey.

February-used Stickers.

July- used buttons and tied with twine.

August-Leaves pins are from Maya road.

September-another butterfly.

It's been busy for me this week, doing all projects for upcoming classes this August. Here are couple of Photos of Kaiser Birdhouse which I have decorated. I will be teaching this on August 22 " Demo day- Gift for Dad" class.
Debbie also created a beautiful Scrapware Frame which she will be teaching in the same class... Julie is also creating a project a well...

Hi All,

" Trip 2 Remember" this is a lay-out I did for the Magazine " For Keeps Creative Paper" which should be published this May Issue. I have checked the newsagency and it seems that nothing for May Issue of "for keeps" Magazine , I heard that they have problems lately as the creative paper has been sold to another publisher. Any-way I decided to put it in my blog to be able to show you all.
I have recycled Making Memories sticker Packaging. (Great Idea isn't???). I also used boarding passes and baggage ticket for memorabilia.

Used lots of pearls and a little bit of hand stitching...

A touch of Ribbon on one corner.... love it...

Hi Everyone,

Just want to say a " Big Thank You" to all who attended my First Class at Scraptacular "All of the Above" last week,friday night 1st of May. I really enjoyed it and was happy to share my techniques to you all.
Thank you also to Danni,Didi & Kelly for the nice comments in the forum... "thanks a lot" I really appreciate it.

Welcome to our May Challenge!!!for the month of May (I created a 12x12 page lay-out) that's all about "Recipe-Chipboard Challenge"**Which you can scrap any recipe or photo that relates to food (if you have photo from your family doing baking/eating favourite food...actually everything that's all about food.)** and you should used lots of chipboard..like chipboard shapes,alpha etc...You can scrap any shape,any size & any colour you want as long that topic is all about food and theres a chipboard embellishments/alphas.

Here's my sample for you to give you some inspiration...

Please note>>>... just look at your old stash... as I have used my left over alpha chipboard.. these are from different brands which I painted to match all together. with some of my chipboard embellishments...

I have used my old stash bella chipboard... (Yes... Bella!!! can you believe it!!!) which I covered with pattern paper,painted and emboss. My large circle chipboard was cut from my cricut machine..but please note>>> that you can hand cut this as well ,using a dinner plate as a template.

The butterfly was from bella chipboard photo corner and put small collection brand butterfly in middle. so no need to buy new and expensive scrap stuff.... just look your old stash!!!! may be you can find something in there!!!

I love what I did with the flower in handle... cute isn't???

"MOTHER"- Used transparency,chipboard leaves and flowers are all from collections.

I add bling to embellish butterfly.

Hi all,

I had a day off from work this Friday, Me and my Daughter had a great time together...
I think I will do it again every school holidays....

* Early morning we drop off my Hubby at work
* Had Big breakfast in Cafe-Oakleigh (Bacon/egg on toast and my favourite strong cappucino -no sugar,,, yummmm!!!!, and my daughter had Hot choco...
* Went to PSW uniform shop and bought PE jacket for my daughter... (don't ask... as it's too expensive!!!!)
* Visit Scraptac and bought some HS stamps... saves more... as it's all 50% off
* Had quick lunch as the Movie starts 2:15pm
* Watched Movie "Monster vs Alien 3D" Khat loves it!!!
It's a long day... Khat did go straight to bed when we arrived home...

This Weekend.... Did a Card for my workmate "Margaret" and Chocolate Bar was covered with pattern paper, used my Slice machine for die cut flower decorated with button and ribbon.

Here's the Birthday Card- mini butterfly is from NEW Collections chipboard.... very cute...

Kathryn and Angeli enjoy each others company...

I used the chipboard shapes as well... put some mini prima flowers ... clear stamps for the butterfly and rub-ons on the calendar.

the butterfly are chipboard Photo corners which I shape into a butterfly....

Hello All,

I hope you all enjoyed your 4 days of Easter Break... Me... I'm too busy cleaning my Scrap room and I did some Birthday cards and a couple of scrap pages...

Here's a Birthday card for my Sister which I used chocolate ribbon-stapled and matched it with buttons... paper are from Sassafras..

Another Birthday card for my Friend using new paper from Sassafras, felt flower -making memories... love it...

and lastly here's a lay-out I made and this is for " make n take" not sure when ,but this is in shop now...
I have used Bella BLVD and bling (Kaiser)... also did a 2 matching Birthday Cards.
These are so.... easy to make....

I still have some more to load.... but I'm running out of time.... and my computer is too slow... it drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!!.... and it's nearly 11pm here in melbourne .... need to wake up early tomorrow as I will be working.... that's the sad part...lol:) but I promise to load more soon....

My Scraproom

Hi All,

I'm really busy in the last 2 days..cleaning up my scrap stuff...re-arranging my Scrap-room... after all the hard work...and thanking my Hubby for helping me assemble these beautiful book shelves and My Daughter for helping me clean my stash... can't asked for more...

I am so happy with the outcome...

BEFORE>>>>>>>>> really messy... as you can see...

Another mess...and Don't have shelves to put all my bottled flowers... Magazines on floor...

More papers... to organise...

and another mess.... never ending... it gives me headaches when I see this everyday...

And now...... are you ready for the After shots????????????????>>>>

AFTER>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wah ...laaHHHH....

Now I have shelves for my bottled flowers... used plastic containers for all my chipboard letters and embellishments... still have to do the labels for each box..but since it's all clear boxes, I will have no problem in getting what I need.

and put all my Magazines in one small shelving... by brands

All my ribbons are in bucket containers..sorted by colours ...
and my buttons on top shelves...

My working tables... (Now more room to make mess again.... lol:)

All my papers are all under the table...

Another book shelve for my finished projects... a small table for my laptop and my Cricut expression machine...

My small TV of course... which I always watch "TFC- The Filipino Channel"....

And lastly.........

Finally I have manage to organise my Stamps as well.... Yipee!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this at K-mart and bought it straight away as I know it all fits my wooden/clear stamps and inks.. (6 drawers -full of stamps and inks...now I know what I have...)

well... after all the hard work.... now it's time to go to bed... I'm so tired.... but it's worth it...
now I can scrap tomorrow...

Hi everyone,

I made another lay-out last week and want to share to you all... I have used october afternon die cuts which I really like... I love the title as well... as my daughter Kathryn loves to go to the shops, so thinking, I will make a layout about it... when she knows that we go to shops ,for sure she's excited... but one thing worries me.... (is to spend money...lol:)

I have layered the flowers (maja road,prima,flower die cuts and fabric button).

and used some Kaiser pearls which is one of my favourites...

I brought this to Straptacular for them to display in the shop....please feel free to check it out...

well.. that's all for now... it's already 11:05pm need to go to bed.... still have work tomorrow...

Hi All,

Just want to show you my project made for FOR KEEPS CREATIVE PAPER this april issue (Mothers day theme)... I'm so excited to see the Magazine... went to Scraptacular to buy 2 copies as I need to send one overseas for my Sister (as they are excited as I am)...but only one left!!! went straight to Borders after work quickly to buy another one...

I'm so happy when I saw it... did not expect that it will look so great in Magazine... as this is a Mini Canvas which I have painted and decorated using mix embellishments... did some handle as well.. (I'm sure My mum is happy ....) missing her a lot!!!

I made a Mothers day card as well... with a lot of stitching in it... both are in April Issue (for keeps creative Paper)...

Here's my projects:

1) Large Paper clip Holder match with 20x20cm layout . This is one of my favourite... bought large paper clip which i decorated match with layout..really good in your office desk!!!

2) Here's another 6x4 Photo holder "HELLO THERE!!! FOR YOU..." instead of using plain evelopes for giving photos as a gift, why make this project..I'm sure they will love this than your photos.... lol:)

3). Here's my third project " YOU ARE MY NO.#1 GIRL". I did a lot of detail here, check the flowers on top right corner, the numbers which I used pearls for the dots plus more...

Hi Everyone,

Had a busy day last week...doing some projects to For keeps and Scraptacular. Got problem with my car as well... so it's too busy.
this week just want to share couple of projects that I did to For keeps mags and Photo card to my Mother in law.

This is my project which was published in FK Mags for February issue.

I like the Handmade clock which I used my cricut machine and quickutz studio mini.

This is a photo card that I have made for my Mother in law.. which you can put 6x4 size photo's
Good Idea isn't???....instead of using plain envelope?.

I'm Back!!!

I'm back!!! it's been a long time that I have not updated my blog as I was too busy before Christmas...packing,buying pressies etc.. and now I'm back from my Christmas Holiday from Philippines visited my relatives. I had a great time and very relaxing...that's what I really need, since I'm working full time, I think I deserve to have a long break.
Now I have good news!!!!!
2 days before my Holiday,received phone call from Casey (For keeps creative paper)that I won as a "ELITE DESIGN TEAM 2009". Yes.... I WON!!!! I was so happy about it... and now want to share with you my Entry layouts.

Can't believe that my name in this Mags... love,love ,love it!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's my first entry "TRIP TO SYDNEY-DESTINATION" which I have put total of 50 photos mix sizes. I did some fold-outs on both page.

2nd layout " SHE LOVES FUN" - love this.... This layout makes a strong feature of the focal photo. mounting each piece on chipboard, gives a great mosaic look.

One of my favourites is the butterfly... isn't beautiful??

My 3rd layout " SO VERY YOU" - the funky embellishment on this layout gives fabulous dimentional effect ,the heart shape chipboard frame... like it?

I have used lots of black and white Mini photos for the heart frame... isn't it cute!!! and match with chipboard buttons... perfect!!!

4th layout "TOGETHER"-the main feature of this page the flower panel made by painting fabric with acrylic paint,then a flower design cut out from paper.

My 5th and last layout "SHE IS FULL OF HAPPINESS" - this design keeps the photos as focus of the page. Used chipboard frame,painted and distressed.

SYTYCS competition had been ended for me

I did enjoyed this competition and I did learned a lot from it.. at first I’m always telling to my daughter and to my hubby that to be included in week6 is already a big privilege and can’t believe that I did make it up to week 10 (one of the top 8) which is already a bonus for me…

Also got good news as well, Nov 3,2008,I received a phone call from FOR KEEPS creative paper Magazine and offered me to make a project for them (FEB issue).... really excited about this as it's my first time that my work will get published.

Nov 20,2008 - email received from FOR KEEPS creative paper which offered me again to do another project for March Issue next year.... really HAPPY about it...

This is one of my Daughters Favourite CD when she's little... I remember as she loves all the songs in this Album which we always keep this in car to listen...

I choose lots of stars on my LO as represent "Dreams will come true". This song relates to my daughter and her friends which they build a band name "taketwo" in school which they will perform next week November14, and she's the lead guitarist.

CRITERIA:
Genre One: Photo Focus

You know the layouts...... with the HUGE photos on them.. they convey a strong message, emotion, etc. The trick to creating these pages is to keep everything else very simple, otherwise you end up with a very cluttered arrangement

So for this layout (again your choice of size, single/double, etc) must have:

- either ONE 8 x 10 photo or a MIXTURE of sizes in a photo block covering an 8 x 10 area
- journalling (amount up to you)
- a title

-A colour blocked layout design-used collection chipboard,fabric,felt and mix PP. One of chipboard (door look) can open widely for journalling and additional photo
- No odd angles (checked) .Used 2 PP for background and cut in Middle for frame look, machine stitch & distress.
- used 3 different sizes of colour photo & journalling strips,used more that 6 colours.
- A circular element (checked)- used MM chipboard frame,Transparency and felt.
-I have folded one corner of large photo put Button and machine stitch.

ROUND8 CRITERIA:
- A colour blocked layout design

- No odd angles, everything running perfectly horizontal or vertical

- Colour Photos (that means NO black & white)

- Journalling Strips

- At least 6 different colours (only one colour from your photo can count toward the tally of 6) Black & White is included as a colour

- At least 2 different size photos

- A circular element (it helps breaks up all the straight lines)

This is my LO for Round 7 and really love it!!!!!!!!!!!

75% stitching- zigzag, straight line, blanket and cross stitch
Handmade- The Whole house made from fabric,foam and papers which can open door for journalling and open widely for lot of photos, did lots of stitching.
Fabric- 3 kinds of fabric, foam and felt
Used 6 different sizes of photos
Used ribbon and ricrac

- a handmade embellishment (a heart cut from felt would suffice)
- at least 3 (or more) photos
- ribbon

You are my Mother that I'm always proud of. You are a strong and loving person. when Dad passed away when I was 6,you took good care of us (7 children) on your own. I can't imagine how you did it but I remembered you worked very hard to give us a good future.

I grew up with your companion and love. At 22 I decided to have a family. It was hard to be away from you but I did try my best to visit you.

Tragedy happened when you got sick (kidney failure) 4 years of pain (Dialysis) fighting this disease,I was away from you, it hurts me a lot cause I want to take care of you but I'm far away from you.

Every time I visit you in Hospital, you're in pain. My heart melts. Only if I can take off all your pain to give you relief because I don't want to see you suffer.

February 2006, I planned to visit you on your 72nd Birthday,my Employer did not allow me to go but I insist that I need to see you because you are very ill.

At home, you are in bed, happy to see me,told me that you thought I won't see you alive anymore. I cried, told you that don't ever say that, because you can live many more years.

On your Birthday, you are so happy and we had a great time together.

I came back here, lost my job,got redundant but did not regret that, as you are more important to me, I'm happy that I had joined you on your birthday, I did not realise that was the last time I see you alive.

June 2006 I did received a phone call from Phillippines asking me to go home as you are very ill. I'm in plane praying to God to give me even just for a day to see you,kiss you, hug you very tight and tell you how much I really love you, but when I arrived, It's too late, you were already gone... gone forever...

ONLY IF I COULD... BRING BACK THE TIME AND TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU...

This challenge in so Important to me... to tell you the truth I was In tears when I'm in Middle of making this page as until now I'm still in grief.
I will be having a holiday this December and visit my Mum's grave but not sure If I'm ready to face this again..
Well... I've done this LO and happy with the outcome and I will treasure this for lifetime.

CRITERIA:
- LO must have only ONE photo MAXIMUM size 4x6..
- LO needs to be about something that was difficult for you to live through, a loss, sad time or something of the like (I want some emotion here girls.. it doesn't have to be about someones passing, but can be about the sadness you feel for the orphans in Africa, cruelty to animals, guilt from taking your child to childcare, that sorta thing)
- LO must have AT LEAST 200 words of journalling if computer generated or 100 words if handwritten (we're focusing on storytelling right, whats a story without words ) Journalling can be hidden on the LO but we need to see it for judging, so don't journal anything you don't want to share
- LO must also include SOME handwritten journalling somewhere on the LO (this criteria is not restricted so just a date or name will do)
- LO must only have ONE piece of Patterned Paper on it (that serves no purpose really its just to stretch you LMAO)

Yes!!! I'm in the Finals and really excited about it...Here's my Round 5 LO... very Artsy as I have use lots of handmade..\

* Title was hand drew and hand cut-chipboard,painted and embossed with enamel
* page was painted with Making memories paints and used lots of ink.
* House hold/Thrift Item:
a. a single page from old book used as part of background
b. used matche sticks for the leaves
c. lid and opener of cangoods,painted and used for journalling.
d. old diskette (pull of the metal thing? -painted in white used for tab for Title -(this is my Daugters Idea... What a clever girl!!!!)

* odd edges (checked)
* Doodling - (checked)
* handmade stuff: hand cut the tree and leaves, used collection Owl(photocopy the negative to smaller size and trace to chipboard and embellished.

Here's my ROUND 4 layout... got a bit of a challenge with the masking tape...it's my first time to used this in a page but I'm happy with the results.
I have painted the masking tape and used my fiskars punches to match with my lay out and used as a border of the photo and on side of the layout.

(CRITERIA FOR ROUND4)
You need to create a LO either 12 x 12 or 8.5x11 and include the following on the layout.

- masking tape (or another form of decorative sticky tape)
- rub-ons
- add hand written journalling directly onto your photo
- use bright colors

This is the LO that I made for Round 3-SYTYCS competition (BEAUTIFUL SMILE)as my daughter is so photogenic and I love the way she smile infront of the Camera. I'm happy with the results of this and thanks to Kim Nutley for the Inspiration.

I think I have done all the criteria for this round.

This is my LO for Round 2-competition.. I really like this one as I have use my favourite collections Embellishments (Owl with Branches and heart chipboards).
I have chosen my favourite colours as well... (Pinks,Blue and Bright green).
This is a challenge as I have choose 3 PP with different Brands... that's really a challenge but I love the outcome...(love,love it!!!!)
